Ramnagar Player Wins Gold Medal in CBSE North Zone-1

A Taekwondo player from Ramnagar won the gold medal at the CBSE North Zone-1 Taekwondo competition 2026 held in Saharanpur district of Uttar Pradesh. The competition took place from August 29 to September 2 at Sarvodaya Gyan Public School in Deoband. The player delivered an impressive performance with excellent technique and discipline.

Players from various schools in the northern region participated in different weight categories in the competition. Under the guidance of Ramnagar Taekwondo Academy coach Akash Kumar, a player from Great Mission Public School won the gold medal. Coach Akash Kumar said, "The player's success is the result of hard work, regular practice, discipline, and confidence."

School director Dr. Prasoon Srivastava and principal Dr. Nalini Srivastava congratulated the player and the school management assured better facilities for sports talents.

On winning the gold medal, the player's parents, teachers, and Ramnagar Taekwondo Academy secretary Nitesh Sharma expressed their happiness. Coach Sameer Kumar, other trainers, and fellow players also congratulated the player and wished for a bright future.

The academy's players have been consistently performing well in district, state, and national level competitions. Such achievements inspire other students to advance in sports.
