Chirag Paswan Filed Complaint Against Swatantra Bhardwaj
Union Minister Chirag Paswan has filed a complaint against Swatantra Bhardwaj. He said that someone's life could have been at risk in the podcast, so the matter is serious and justice must be served.
Chirag Paswan stated that a person openly admitted on a podcast to severely beating someone to the extent that it could have caused death. Chirag clarified that anyone in public life can meet a leader, express their views, or take a photo with them.
He also said, "Claiming that he personally knows Swatantra Bhardwaj or that Bhardwaj knows him is completely false." Considering the current situation, Chirag Paswan said that he and his party stand firmly with Nishu and his family and they should get justice.
He mentioned that allegations have been made against him and his party that no action was taken against the concerned person on their or some other leaders' instructions. Chirag urged Delhi Police to conduct a fair investigation and bring out the truth.
Swatantra Bhardwaj said the attack on the victim was so serious that it could have been fatal. He stated that the victim did not suffer serious injuries and is fully cooperating with the investigation. Bhardwaj, responding to the controversy, said that the incident being called an attack was actually an act of self-defense.
The incident took place at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi during a CJP protest, where activist Nishu Azad's father Sanjay Azad was assaulted. A crowd of 10-15 people surrounded them at the scene, and if they had not defended themselves, the crowd could have taken their life.
Swatantra Bhardwaj said that his name is being misused for political purposes and he is taking legal action against it.
Considering the seriousness of the matter, he has filed an authorized complaint against the concerned person
