Janmashtami Celebrated with Grandeur at Brahmakumari University in Shri Ganganagar

SHRI GANGANAGAR। The Janmashtami festival was celebrated with great enthusiasm on September 4 at Prajapati Brahmakumari Ishwariya University in Shri Ganganagar. Children performed the childhood plays of Radha-Krishna and chants of Jai Shri Krishna echoed throughout the campus.

The program coordinator Brahmakumari Didi Mohni said that Lord Krishna's life conveys the message of love, truth, action, dharma, and humanity. She said, "By adopting his ideals, we can bring positive changes in our behavior and thoughts." Didi Mohni described instilling values in children and connecting them to Indian culture as the greatest need today.

Brahmakumari Didi Usha said, "Lord Krishna is not only a religious figure but also a symbol of supreme life values. Janmashtami inspires us to leave behind negative thoughts and embrace truth, love, peace, and harmony."

Chief guest Jail Officer Hemraj said that Lord Shri Krishna never abandoned the path of dharma and truth even in adverse circumstances. He said, "His life inspires us to move forward with patience, courage, and dedication to duty." Hemraj said that good values and moral principles in children lead society in a better direction.

He described children's cultural performances as a powerful medium to connect the new generation with culture and said that the inclusion of values along with education is the foundation for the holistic development of children.

Principal Rimpa Talwar said, "Lord Krishna's child form is a special attraction for children, but the ideals of his life are inspiring for every individual."
