Grand Preparations for Janmashtami at Radhakrishna Temple in Kullu
KULLU। Grand preparations have been completed on Thursday for Janmashtami at the Radhakrishna Temple located on Rath Road in Kullu. The police have stated that adequate forces will be deployed for security at the fair. Special arrangements have been made for the entry and exit of devotees with colorful lights and decorations in the temple premises.
The temple has been decorated with colorful lights inside and outside, and the court of Radhakrishna has been beautifully adorned. The gates will open for darshan from 5 PM; devotees will enter through the second gate while exit will be through the main gate. Temple committee officials will monitor the arrangements.
There are food, drink, and toy stalls set up at various places in the fair, and swings have also been installed for children. The main markets of the city are vibrant with Janmashtami celebrations, where the demand for designer costumes and swings for Kanha's adornment has increased. Shopkeepers said that prices have increased by 15 to 20 percent compared to last year.
ASP Eshant Soni inspected the preparations for the Janmashtami fair at Galla Mandi and took information about the arrangements from the temple committee officials.
Expert Aakriti Chaudhary said, "The words spoken by Lord Shri Krishna are preserved as the Gita." This event on the occasion of Janmashtami in Kullu is a symbol of religious faith and cultural heritage.
