Former Sarpanch Kavita Faujdar Arrested in Fake OBC Certificate Case
Kavita Faujdar, former head of Congress in the Kumher area of Bharatpur, was arrested on charges of obtaining a government job and contesting the Panchayat Samiti chief election using a fake OBC certificate. The police presented her in court and sent her to the women's jail.
Kumher police station arrested Kavita Faujdar from her home on Wednesday. The police are now investigating the OBC certificate, the 1993 voter list, and other documents.
The complaint alleges that Kavita, while applying for an OBC woman caste certificate in Rajasthan, declared herself and her parents as residents of Kumher. To support this, documents were forged by tampering with names in the 1993 voter list of the Kumher assembly constituency and attached with the certificate application.
Based on this OBC certificate, Kavita secured a job in 2021 as a Covid Health Assistant. Her husband Shyamveer Singh, e-Mitra operator, Patwari, and a witness are also accused of conspiracy in the case.
The police registered the case and started an investigation on the court's orders.
In Buxar, Bihar, two teachers of a government school have been accused of molesting female students and making obscene videos. Villagers assaulted the accused after finding videos on their mobiles. Senior officials of the education department have suspended both teachers and initiated departmental action.
Investigation revealed that one accused teacher had obtained the job on a fake certificate. The case pertains to Dera Middle School in Nathuni Ahir of Dumraon block.
On August 29, villagers reached the school, caught one teacher, and questioned him. Several obscene videos were found on the mobile during the check.
The BEO submitted the report to the DEO office. DPO Rajnish Jha immediately suspended both teachers.
The investigation also revealed that teacher Arvind Kumar, accused of molesting girls and making obscene videos, had a fake teacher training certificate. The case came to light in 2023 but no action was taken due to departmental negligence. Now, an FIR is being prepared against him.

The son of a former MLA was given tickets by both Congress and BJP, after which the district president expelled him from the party. In Rajasthan municipal elections, members of several families are contesting against each other.
The investigation was started based on the petition presented in the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate court of Kumher
