Mohsin Naqvi Defends Pakistan Team by Mentioning India

Pakistan Cricket Board chairman Mohsin Naqvi responded to questions about the team's poor performance by citing recent losses of India and South Africa. After consecutive defeats in the three-match Test series in England, the board has made several changes to the team. Naqvi said that every match and every series is important for us and changes will be made if necessary.

On the England tour, the Pakistan team suffered heavy defeats in the first two Test matches. After losing the first Test by an innings, they lost the second Test by 194 runs. During this period, Imam-ul-Haq was injured and could not bat in both innings, which harmed the team.

Amid this poor performance, the Pakistan Cricket Board has made changes involving the coaching staff and more than half a dozen players and officials. Seven players were sent back to Pakistan, and former captain Sarfraz Ahmed and bowling coach Umar Gul were relieved of their duties.

In a video that went viral on social media, Mohsin Naqvi said, "I ask you one thing: South Africa lost to Namibia, and India lost to Ireland. Whoever we need here, we will definitely bring them. If someone is not working properly or not performing well, what can we do? Every match and every series is important for us."

He also spoke about Salman Agha's condition, saying he is a great player but is currently not performing well for some reasons. The team management has talked to him and instead of giving rest, they have tried to understand his situation. Naqvi clarified that the aim is not to remove any player from the team, but if someone is not playing well, changes are necessary.

Referring to the losses of India and South Africa, Naqvi said that when strong teams also lose, Pakistan's loss should not be seen as the end of cricket. He said the team will have to make necessary decisions to achieve better results.

The Pakistan Cricket Board is currently under criticism, but Naqvi defended his team saying there is no need to fear criticism and there is hope for improvement in Pakistan cricket in the coming days. He said every series is important and steps will be taken to improve the team.
