Churu Ward 11 Congress Candidate's Property Worth 10.65 Crore
CHURU। Congress candidate Sanjay Bhati from Churu Ward 11 has filed his nomination for the municipal elections, declaring total assets worth more than 10.65 crore rupees. This includes the property of his wife and children, which has become a topic of discussion locally.
Sanjay Bhati is a resident of Ward 17 in Churu city and is contesting the councillor post from Ward 11 on a Congress ticket. In his nomination affidavit, he has declared movable and immovable assets worth more than 9 crore 71 lakh 55 thousand 162 rupees.
A large part of this property is business shares, including land of a petrol pump located in Runkansar, property in Agrasen Nagar, and shops at the old bus stand. The market value of these business properties is stated to be more than 4 crore 16 lakh 65 thousand rupees.
Additionally, agricultural land in Ramsara, Ratanagar, and Runkansar Ramgarh is also registered in his name. The affidavit also mentions non-agricultural land and residential buildings in Churu. Deposits in bank accounts, fixed deposits, insurance, gold, vehicles, and other assets are also included.
He owns 200 grams of gold, valued at 28 lakh 75 thousand 120 rupees. Sanjay Bhati obtained his LLB degree from university in 2021.
The affidavit also records liabilities of 1 crore 28 lakh 60 thousand 667 rupees against him, reflecting his financial obligations.
This property declaration of Ward 11 in the Churu municipal elections has become a subject of local discussion. Along with the political strength of the candidates, their declared assets and financial status have also come under public scrutiny in the electoral contest.
