Delhi HC rejects plea by Vimal Elaichi makers over FDA notice

The Delhi High Court has dismissed the plea filed by the makers of Vimal Elaichi challenging a show cause notice issued by the Maharashtra Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to actors Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgn, and Tiger Shroff. The court rejected the petition seeking relief from the notice related to the promotion of the product.

The plea was filed against the Maharashtra FDA's notice to the celebrity actors for their association with the Vimal Elaichi brand. The court's decision came after hearing the arguments presented by the petitioners. The notice was issued in connection with the promotion of pan masala in the market, which is regulated under food safety laws. The Delhi High Court's dismissal means the actors and the makers must respond to the FDA's show cause notice as per the legal process.
