Chased for 6 km at night to catch four accused in stolen car case

 Banswara police caught four accused who stole a red WagonR car from Adilabad, Telangana, and were taking it to Rajasthan. On receiving information, SP Amit Kumar directed Bilpank police station in-charge Ayub Khan to lay a siege on the four-lane road and chase the accused through fields and forests for six km before catching them.

SP Amit Kumar said that on Wednesday they received information that a red WagonR car stolen from Adilabad was being brought to Rajasthan via Ratlam four-lane road. On this information, Bilpank police station in-charge Ayub Khan was alerted. Khan laid a siege on the four-lane road. As soon as the car arrived, the police tried to stop it, but the criminals started driving the vehicle at high speed. When the car stopped, two criminals ran towards the fields.

The police chased for six km and caught both accused in the fields and forest department's forests. The accused admitted to committing several thefts at Adilabad police station in Telangana and Bhimini police station in Hyderabad. A Suzuki WagonR car, a subbal, and cash were seized from the accused.

Police station in-charge Ayub Khan said the accused had also stolen items from three different shops in Telangana. They sold the stolen goods in Maharashtra and deposited the money online into their family bank accounts. When the accused were caught, about Rs 52,000 was found with them.

The police handed over the accused to Telangana police. All four accused are residents of different villages in Pali district. Their names are Ghanshyam (44), Laxman Ram (45), Bondaram (38), and Manikchand (35).

Ayub Khan said that besides Bilpank police station staff, sub-inspector Kishanlal Rajak, head constable Rahul Jat, Tejsingh Jagawat, Narendra Singh Chawda, Ishwarsingh Rathore, Ashok Maida, Roshan Rathore, Rohit Chauhan, Nilesh Avsya, Shyamdayal Rathore, and Vinod Singar played a role in catching the accused.
