Tribe Woman's Hair Shaved and Beaten by Mob in Banswara

JAGRAN CORRESPONDENT। In Rajasthan's Banswara district, a mob of women and men subjected a tribal woman to inhuman treatment. The mob shaved the woman's hair, tore her clothes, and brutally beat her with sticks. The police have taken the main accused husband into custody.

According to the police, the men and women involved in this incident are connected to the woman's in-laws. The woman had gone to her parental home a few days ago and did not return to her in-laws. When she returned, the in-laws' side people treated her this way.

Several women and men in the mob were seen recording a video of the incident. The woman tried to save herself and asked for help, but the mob did not listen to her. This video has gone viral on social media.

The police have filed a report against three accused and taken two into custody. The former chairperson of the State Women's Commission condemned the incident and demanded action against the culprits.
