Kharif Crop Review in Tonk, Emphasis on Use of SSP
TONK। In the monthly meeting of the Agriculture Department in Tonk, the status of Kharif crops and fertilizer availability was reviewed. Joint Director of Agriculture, Ramlal Jat, instructed to raise awareness among farmers about the use of Single Super Phosphate as an alternative to DAP.
The meeting discussed the progress of various departmental activities including agricultural mechanization, irrigation, and seed schemes. Ramlal Jat described the Framework for Fertilizer Sale system as an important initiative to increase transparency in fertilizer sales. He directed officials to disseminate information about the FFS process and its benefits to farmers to provide relief from issues including tagging.
Assistant Director of Agricultural Statistics, Lakshmi Narayan Sharma, instructed to submit Form Number-1 related to crop harvesting experiments on time at the tehsils. Assistant Director Prakash Singh Yadav reviewed the Traditional Agriculture Development Scheme and Natural Farming programs. Agricultural officers Kajod Mal Gurjar, Amina Meena, and Agri Clinic in-charge Jitendra Sharma also provided various information during the meeting.
