A crocodile fell into a farm pond near Sadra village in the eco-sensitive zone of Kumbhalgarh Sanctuary in Pali district. Upon receiving information, the forest department team made continuous efforts for three days to safely rescue the crocodile.

The information about the crocodile falling into the pond was given to the forest department by farmer Kuldeep Singh from Sadra. Upon receiving the information, forest officials Ishwar Singh Chauhan, Satish Prajapat, and Ajit Vishnoi reached the spot. They were accompanied by Tiger Rescue team members Rafiq Pathan, Manohar Meena, Hitesh, and Lalit Rao.

The water in the pond was quite deep and the crocodile kept changing its position repeatedly. The team tried several times to catch it by casting nets, but the crocodile did not get trapped in the net. After continuous unsuccessful attempts, the team changed its strategy on Thursday.

On Thursday, the rescue team attracted the crocodile by placing bait in the net. Lured by the bait, the crocodile approached the net and got caught in it. After that, the team members carefully and safely removed the crocodile from the pond.

After the rescue, the crocodile was safely released in the water area of the nearby Latada Dam, where it will find a natural environment and be able to roam freely.
