Farmers met Agriculture Commissioner Naresh Goyal regarding the Kharif 2025 crop insurance claims. Farmers thanked him for the decision to open the portal and demanded that the remaining process be completed quickly and the insurance amount be released. The Agriculture Commissioner assured that the claim amount would be released soon.

Agriculture Commissioner Naresh Goyal stated that districts had already been given instructions for Kharif 2025. Due to some crop harvesting experiments being conducted offline, the calculation of insurance claims could not be completed. A decision has been taken according to the rules of the Prime Minister's Crop Insurance Scheme Operational Guideline-2023 for this.

He said that this decision was taken keeping in mind the existing facts and the interests of the farmers. The aim is to finalize the crop insurance claims for eligible farmers. Concerned individuals can present their case before the DGRC as per the rules of Guideline-2023.

Farmer representatives urged to complete the remaining process quickly and release the insurance claim amount. They expressed gratitude for the decision to open the portal. The Agriculture Commissioner responded positively and assured that the claim amount would be released soon.
