Shikha of Bithri Chainpur Wins Bronze Medal in National Taekwondo

BAREILLY। Shikha Gangwar, a student of Kasturba Gandhi Girls School, Bithri Chainpur, won a bronze medal in the National Taekwondo competition held in Ludhiana. The Sub-Divisional Magistrate Sadar honored Shikha on September 3, congratulated her on the achievement, and encouraged her for better performance in the future.

Shikha Gangwar performed excellently in the National Taekwondo competition. The Sub-Divisional Magistrate said, "Sports develop discipline, self-confidence, leadership skills, and team spirit among students." He also encouraged Shikha to inspire other girls towards sports.

The school teachers also extended their best wishes to Shikha.

Similarly, players from other sports in the district have also won medals. In the 70th Punjab School District Level Wushu Championship 2026–27, players from Public School won two gold, one silver, and two bronze medals. Gaurav Saini and Tahir will represent the district at the upcoming state level.

In the national level shooting competition, Rishabh Negi, a resident of Bithoria, won a bronze medal in the 28th All India Kumar Surendra Singh Inter School Shooting Championship held in Bhopal.
