Grand Decoration for Janmashtami at Sarmathura's Charbhuj Temple

SARMATHURA। Preparations are in full swing for Shri Krishna Janmashtami at the famous Charbhuj Temple located in the Jhor town of Sarmathura. Painting, coloring, and electric lighting work to decorate the temple like a bride are in the final stages.

Beautiful paintings of Lord Shri Krishna are being made on the temple walls, including religious scenes and views related to the aarti. The temple premises are being decorated with colorful lights, flowers, and attractive decorations.

The temple management committee, devotees, and a youth team are jointly managing the arrangements. On the night of Janmashtami, there will be Panchamrit Abhishek, special worship, and a grand aarti. At midnight, shankhnaad (conch blowing) and bell ringing will accompany cheers to mark the birth of Lord Shri Krishna.

For the convenience of devotees, a team of volunteers will be deployed in the temple premises for crowd control. Special arrangements have been made for women, elderly, and children. Police administration cooperation has been sought for security.

On the occasion of Janmashtami, there will be bhajan evenings, kirtans, and religious programs. Local artists will present performances based on the leelas (divine plays) of Lord Shri Krishna. The temple committee has requested all devotees to have peaceful darshan and cooperate with the arrangements.

The Shri Dwarkadhish Temple located in Kankaroli is also decorated with attractive lights. The temple premises have become a center of attraction for devotees with colorful electric decorations in the dark of night. The lighting on the temple walls, spires, and entrance gates makes the entire premises glow with a divine aura.

The spires decorated especially with purple, blue, yellow, and white lights enhance the beauty of the temple.

The schedule of worship is as follows: Panchamrit at 5:30 AM, Shringar at 10:35 AM, Rajbhog at 1:30 PM, Utthapan at 6 PM, Bhog at 7 PM, and Aarti at 7:30 PM. At night, Shayan at 9:40 PM, Jagran Darshan at 10 PM, and the darshan of Lord Shri Krishna's birth at midnight 12 AM will take place.

The next day, Saturday, Nand Mahotsav will be celebrated, with Bhog-Aarti at 5:30 PM and Shayan Darshan at 8:30 PM. According to the temple management, due to the tradition and rituals of seva-puja, the darshan timings may change.
