Preparations Intensify for National Lok Adalat in Gonda on September 12

GONDA। A National Lok Adalat will be held in Gonda on September 12. Police, administration, and officials from various departments have held meetings to speed up preparations. Pending and pre-litigation cases will be resolved in the Lok Adalat with the consent of the parties involved.

Additional District Judge Danish Hasnain has instructed police, administration, and departmental officials in a meeting to identify as many cases as possible. These will include traffic, minor criminal, bank, cheque bounce, municipal, electricity, motor accident, family, civil, labor, land acquisition, and other conciliable pending and pre-litigation cases.

The District Legal Services Authority organized an awareness rally, where District Judge and Chairman of the District Legal Services Authority Dharmendra Kumar Pandey flagged off a rally of children from various schools.

A pre-trial meeting was held in the district court meeting hall to review the status of pending cases. The meeting was chaired by Additional District Judge First and Nodal Officer Ravindra Kumar Dwivedi, with administrative and police officers and representatives from various departments present.

On behalf of the administration, Nodal Officer Additional District Magistrate (Judicial) Vijay Kumar Mishra presented the updated list of 1,46,205 cases proposed for the Lok Adalat. Officials reviewed the list and discussed strategies for case resolution. The nodal officer instructed the concerned departmental officials to ensure the maximum possible disposal of cases in the Lok Adalat. He also emphasized identifying eligible cases, timely informing the concerned parties, and completing necessary preparations.

The meeting was attended by Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Anuja Singh, Secretary of the District Legal Services Authority Pamela Srivastava, Deputy Superintendent of Police Ajay Kumar, along with officials from the electricity department and other representatives.

For the promotion of the National Lok Adalat and the disposal of pre-litigation cases, officials from the Basic Education Department, school inspectors, Government Industrial Training Institute, and Government Polytechnic have been instructed. Result-oriented and meaningful efforts from all departments are required. Officials assured full cooperation.
