A case of fraud involving lakhs of rupees from an unemployed youth in Hanumangarh in the name of work from home and online business has come to light. The accused took the youth's Aadhaar card, PAN card, and SIM card to open a bank account in his name and conducted large transactions. Sangaria police station has registered a case and started investigation.

A youth named Sumit, who is unemployed and was looking for a job while studying, connected after seeing posts on social media about work from home. In June 2024, Kailash Bishnoi from Jodhpur contacted him and assured work under the name of online business and work from home. Kailash said the company would create his ID and money would be directly credited to his bank account in exchange for work. For this, Aadhaar card, PAN card, and SIM card were requested.

Sumit, trusting the accused, gave his SIM card, Aadhaar card, and PAN card to Neha Bansal. About five days later, Kailash asked him to deposit Rs 10,000. After that, Sumit did not do any work for the accused.

Some time later, Sumit received a notice from the Sri Ganganagar Cyber Police Station stating that there were many transactions in his bank account. He found out that the accused had misused his documents to open an account in his name at City Union Bank, Sri Ganganagar branch. About Rs 43 lakh worth of transactions took place in that account, of which Sumit was unaware.

The Sangaria police station received this complaint on court orders. The police have registered a case under sections related to fraud, forgery, and misuse of documents against two named accused and three to four others and started investigation. The case investigation has been assigned to Assistant Sub-Inspector Shravan Kumar. The police will now examine the bank account, documents, mobile numbers, and records related to the alleged transactions to determine the role of the accused.
