Philips S7221 5G Smartphone

This is Philips' first smartphone launched in India, featuring a 6.67-inch HD LCD screen with a resolution of 720 x 1,600 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The phone is powered by an octa-core Spreadtrum T765 chipset. It comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, a 64-megapixel primary camera, and a 16-megapixel selfie camera. An AI scene detection feature is also included. The phone is powered by a 5,700mAh battery. It will be available in three colors: black, blue, and grey. Philips' smartphone will face tough competition in the market, but its success will become clear in the coming days.

Tata Curvv Series X SUV

Tata Motors has launched the Curvv Series X SUV, priced ex-showroom between ₹10 lakh and ₹19 lakh. In this new lineup, variants have been reorganized and many features previously limited to expensive variants are now included in lower and mid-spec models. The Dark Edition is now available in lower variants, featuring a black theme. The SUV offers three engine options: a 120 hp 1.2-liter turbo petrol, and a 1.5-liter diesel engine both available with 6-speed manual and 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearboxes, and a 125 hp 1.2-liter direct-injection turbo petrol engine offered only in the top-spec Accomplished X+ variant with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. The cabin features a light-colored interior theme, leatherette upholstery, AC vents, rear armrest, and reclining rear seats. The front seat back is made 10 mm thinner and the rear seat moved 20 mm back and 10 mm down, increasing space for rear passengers. Safety features include 6 airbags, ESP, hill-hold control, ABS with EBD, and rear parking sensors. The top-spec variant has a 12.3-inch infotainment screen and a 9-speaker JBL audio system. The exterior design is similar to the existing Curvv with an SUV-coupe style, including black grille treatment, flush door handles, LED headlamps, DRLs, and LED tail lamps. The focus of Series X is to offer more features without significantly increasing the price.
