NHAI is giving a FASTag reward of 1000 rupees, send pictures of dirty toilets
The National Highway Authority of India has launched a new scheme in which people will get a FASTag reward of 1000 rupees for sending pictures of dirty toilets. This scheme is part of the Clean Toilet Picture Challenge started in September 2025 and has now been extended until June 30, 2027.
Under this scheme, clear pictures of dirty toilets present on highways and expressways must be uploaded on the Rajmargyatra mobile app with geo-tagging and time-stamping. Along with the photo, the sender must provide their name, location, vehicle registration number, and mobile number.
A vehicle will receive the reward only once during the entire campaign, and this reward will be non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
The government has built many public toilets on highways and expressways, but due to lack of cleanliness, people are unable to use them. To address this inconvenience, NHAI has designed this scheme to improve the cleanliness situation.
This scheme is open to all commuters traveling on national highways.
