Matki Breaking Competition and Vigil Organized in Didwana
DIDWANA। Shri Krishna Janmashtami will be celebrated with great enthusiasm in Didwana on Friday. Vigils will begin at 6 pm in various temples, and after midnight, aarti and distribution of prasad will take place following the birth.
A matki breaking competition will be organized at Jankheda Hanuman Temple, where the winning team will receive a cash prize of 3100 rupees, the second place 2100 rupees, and the third place team 1100 rupees. Groups of youth will participate in this competition with enthusiasm.
Grand vigils will also be held at Shri Shyam Temple located on the Delhi-Jaipur Highway and Shri Shyam Temple Daulatsinghpura on the Neemrana-Majri Kalan route.
The famous Gopal Ji Temple in Nimod will celebrate Janmashtami in a grand manner. The temple premises are being attractively decorated so that devotees can witness the grand spectacle of Lord Shri Krishna’s birth festival. Sapna Agrawal and her family from Jaipur are assisting in decorating the temple and making the festival grand.
During the Janmashtami ceremony, storyteller Nemichand Shastri from Mandukara will organize a bhajan evening, praising the glory of Lord Shri Krishna. Devotees will remain immersed in devotion until late at night.
Special worship and aarti will be performed in the temple at the time of Lord Shri Krishna’s birth. The organizing committee has made necessary arrangements for the convenience of devotees and expects a large number of people to attend.
There is great enthusiasm among villagers and devotees regarding Janmashtami.
