'Mirzapur The Movie' to Release in Theaters on September 4
'Mirzapur The Movie' has been released on September 4 in 1,910 theaters across the country. The film has already grossed Rs 8.9 crore from advance bookings before the first day, and it is expected to earn Rs 25 to 30 crore at the box office.
The makers of 'Mirzapur The Movie' have released the film for 10,977 shows in 688 cities. According to Track Tollywood, 3,13,785 tickets have been sold so far. The film's overall occupancy is about 13.1 percent, indicating good audience interest.
The film's release coincides with the Janmashtami holiday, which is expected to boost spot bookings and theater footfall. If the audience response is good, the first-day earnings could reach close to Rs 30 crore.
The film features many old and popular characters including Guddu Pandit and Kaleen Bhaiya. The cast includes Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Divyendu, Jitendra Kumar, Ravi Kishan, Abhishek Banerjee, Rasika Dugal, Shweta Tripathi, and Shriya Pilgaonkar.
The film is produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani under the banner of Excel Entertainment, with Amazon MGM Studios also involved in production.
Lalit Kumar, a writer in the Times Now Navbharat Digital entertainment team, said that the advance booking figures and first-day earnings are encouraging.
