Yash's Film 'Toxic' Sees Continuous Decline in Earnings
Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the Yash-starrer film 'Toxic' collected 101 crore net and 120 crore gross in India on its first day. Despite this, the film's earnings have been continuously declining, a trend that continued even on the ninth day after release.
According to box office data, the film is not even able to earn 10 crore rupees daily on weekdays. According to initial figures from सक्निल्क, by 10 pm on Thursday, 'Toxic' had collected 3.46 crore.
The film has not yet crossed the 300 crore rupees mark in India. In contrast, the devotional film 'Hanuman Ansh', made on a budget of just about 2 crore, earned 7.61 crore on Thursday, outperforming 'Toxic'. 'Hanuman Ansh' is based on the story related to Neem Karoli Baba and was released without any major star.
Despite the tremendous earnings on the first day, 'Toxic' could not maintain its pace, which has disappointed the makers.
