In Jodhpur, people raised their locality’s cleanliness and sewer-related issues before the department through ‘Bhaskar Samadhan’. After receiving the complaints, the concerned officials took immediate action by removing the garbage and repairing the damaged sewer chamber.

In Subhash Chandra Colony on Ratanada Road, a heap of garbage had been accumulating for several days in front of the main gate of Jeet Apartment. Neither the municipal corporation workers cleaned nor collected the garbage there. Stray animals gathered due to the garbage, and there was also a large number of flies. Despite repeated complaints by the society manager and the corporation, no solution was found.

After this issue was posted on ‘Bhaskar Samadhan’, sanitation in-charge Arjun Barasa arranged for the garbage to be removed and resolved the problem. Arjun Barasa said, "This sewer chamber had become damaged." He also received the title of ‘Public Star’ for this work.

A complaint was also received about a clogged sewer line in Agrawal’s Garden on Chopasni Road. Sewage water had been flowing on the road for 10-15 days, causing filth to spread. After the complaint, the corporation repaired it.

Through the ‘Bhaskar Samadhan’ app, people are directly sending problems of their wards, sectors, villages, or lanes to departments and officials. Officials check the location on the map after receiving complaints and get the issues resolved, informing the complainants through the app.

However, some problems still persist. The drinking water issue near Nagauri Gate, Baba Ramdev Temple, Kakdi Road, and Bharat Camper has been ongoing for the last three years. Despite running around different offices of the Jaldaya department, the water problem has not been resolved.

Water has been flowing wastefully for a year at Jodhpur Court, but the responsible authorities have not paid attention. The broken road at Transport Nagar Chowk has also been waiting for repairs for several months.

In Chopasni Housing Board Sector 17, garbage trucks have not come for nine days, causing garbage to pile up in homes and people to throw garbage in empty spaces. This problem is also seen in other wards.

‘Bhaskar Samadhan’ is the only digital platform in the country where city residents can directly post problems of their area. Complaints reach senior officials of departments who are getting them resolved.

Direct Solutions through Digital Platform

The ‘Bhaskar Samadhan’ segment has been made more effective, simple, and user-friendly. Now complaints reach the concerned department officials directly. Officials can check the progress of work by viewing the location on the map. If the issue is resolved, the complainant is informed through the app or can also be called. This has increased people’s trust and daily problems are being resolved faster.
