Divisional Commissioner Reviews Election Preparations in Deeg

DEEG। Divisional Commissioner and In-charge Secretary Nalini Kathotia held a review meeting on Thursday at the Collectorate Auditorium regarding preparations for the urban local body elections in Deeg. During this, District Election Officer, Collector Mayank Manish, and District Police Superintendent Kamble Sharan Gopinath, along with all election cell in-charges, provided updates on the preparations.

The Divisional Commissioner instructed to fully comply with the Election Commission's guidelines and complete election-related work on time. She reviewed the first check of EVMs, EVM allocation, formation of polling teams, and training arrangements. All officers were asked to complete election-related tasks on schedule.

Kathotia directed zonal and sector magistrates to continuously patrol their respective areas to monitor the Model Code of Conduct and law and order. She emphasized special vigilance at sensitive and hyper-sensitive polling stations. Instructions were also given to deploy adequate police forces at these centers and strengthen technical arrangements such as videography and webcasting.

The meeting was attended by Deputy District Election Officer Devendra Parmar, Additional Chief Executive Officer Mohan Singh, in-charge officers of various election cells, officials from the Animal Husbandry Department, and other concerned officers.
