500 plants planted in 2 hectares in Kankara village of Khairthal
KHAIRTHAL। In Kankara village of Khairthal-Tijara district in Rajasthan, the District Legal Services Authority and Forest Department team together planted 500 plants on about 2 hectares of land on Thursday. Officials and staff pledged to regularly care for and protect the plants during the program.
Ajit Kudi, Secretary of the District Legal Services Authority and Additional District and Sessions Judge, conveyed the message of saving the environment by planting trees.
Ajit Kudi emphasized the need to make tree plantation a mass movement in view of increasing pollution and changing environmental conditions. He appealed to people to consider environmental protection as their responsibility.
Officials and employees of the Forest Department were also present at the program. Rahul Jat of the District Legal Services Authority and other staff also participated in this campaign. Together, all pledged to plant trees and ensure their care and protection.
Officials stated that trees are the foundation of life and help maintain environmental balance, save clean air and water, and preserve biodiversity. They also raised awareness among people in rural areas to protect the environment.
Everyone present pledged to work together for environmental protection and said that protecting the planted trees is the real purpose of tree plantation.
The officials clarified that tree plantation is not just a one-day campaign but a continuous responsibility.
