Legal Rights Information to Women at Nari Samvad Camp in Didwana

DIDWANA। In Khunkhuna village of Didwana-Kuchaman, the Rajasthan State Legal Services Authority and the District Legal Services Authority organized the 'Nari Samvad' women's legal awareness camp. A large number of rural women participated and gained information about their legal rights and laws related to protection.

The camp was organized under the direction of District Judge and Chairman of the District Legal Services Authority, Nahar Singh Meena, and under the guidance of the Authority's Secretary, Vikas Aichara. The purpose of the program was to make women aware of their rights and familiarize them with the process of obtaining justice.

Rural women were given detailed information about laws related to domestic violence, mental and physical harassment, and child protection. Women were informed that being economically weak should not deprive them of justice, and for this, the law provides free legal aid, lawyers, and advisory services.

The camp provided information about crimes against women and the legal provisions available for their protection, urging them to reach the appropriate legal forum in case of any atrocity. There was also discussion on legal measures available for children's rights and their protection, so that timely and appropriate steps can be taken when needed.

During the program, women asked many questions related to law and security arrangements, making the dialogue extend beyond just a legal awareness camp. Deputy Chief Harphool Rao and Aarti Sikhwal, along with a large number of rural women and others, were present.

Women were given the message that the law grants every woman equal rights to security and justice, so it is important to recognize their rights and use them properly when necessary.
