Case filed against councilor candidate for illegal poster pasting in Baran

In Baran district, police have started strict monitoring of illegal activities related to municipal elections. A case has been registered against ward 34 councilor candidate Deepak Soni for pasting 13 posters within the Kotwali police station premises. SP Abhishek Andasu stated that continuous monitoring is being done in the district in view of the elections.

 A case has been registered against ward 34 councilor candidate Deepak Soni for pasting 13 posters within the Kotwali police station premises.

Kotwali Station Officer Heeralal Puniya found 13 posters on both sides of the main gate of the police station premises during a patrol on Thursday evening. These posters had pictures of Deepak Soni, Virendra Singh Hada, and former chairman Kamal Rathore, with promises aimed at attracting voters. The police have appealed to the public not to paste any kind of posters, banners, or promotional material on public and government properties without permission. Legal action will be taken for violations of rules during campaigning.
