Three Spies Arrested with Pistol Received from Pakistan

Three accused were arrested on Firozpur Road for installing CCTV cameras under the guise of a shoe shop to monitor a military area. Police recovered a 32 bore pistol sent from Pakistan from the possession of the accused.

Police stated that during interrogation, Rachhpal Singh, Rohit, and Varinder were found with a 32 bore pistol, which was sent from Pakistan through their handlers. The accused were instructed to sell the pistol to cover their expenses.

Investigation revealed that the accused's network was not limited to Ludhiana. They were also supposed to install similar CCTV cameras in Firozpur and Rajasthan to send pictures and videos of military activities to ISI handlers based in Pakistan.

Police said the accused were called to various locations in Punjab and paid multiple times. The investigation is ongoing to determine how the funds were provided and how contact was maintained with handlers in Pakistan.

Police are now investigating the source of the weapon and the network. It was found that the pistol was brought from the Amritsar border area. The accused's mobile phones, contacts, bank transactions, and digital activities are also under scrutiny.

Officials believe that further interrogation may reveal more information about the handlers in Pakistan and other people connected to this network.
