62 Candidates in the Fray for 25 Wards in Salumber

SALUMBER। A total of 62 candidates are contesting in 25 wards for the Salumber Municipal Council elections. Voting will take place on September 11 and counting on September 14. By August 31, 108 nomination forms were submitted, of which 13 candidates have withdrawn their names.

The post of chairman in Salumber Municipal Council is reserved under the general open category. A total of 62 candidates are contesting in 25 wards. By August 31, 108 nomination forms were submitted, but 13 candidates withdrew their names.

Among those who withdrew their nominations are Vandana, Pooja Shekhawat, and Sangeeta Rao from Ward No. 25. Nirmala Devi from Ward 12, Vanita Patel and Krishna Soni from Ward 19 also withdrew their names.

Additionally, Ashok Salvi from Ward 22, Kailash Teli and Vinod Jain from Ward 17, Monika from Ward 3, Jayprakash and Shubham Jain from Ward 2, and Aarti Patel from Ward 20 have also withdrawn their candidacies.

Voting will be held on September 11 and counting on September 14. Subsequently, the election for the vice-chairman will be held on September 22.
