277 Candidates to Contest in Hanumangarh Municipal Council Elections

HANUMANGARH। In the 60 wards of Hanumangarh Municipal Council, 36 candidates have withdrawn their nominations. After this, 277 candidates remain in the fray. The withdrawal process was completed on Thursday and this process was concluded for the ward member posts in the district's eight urban bodies.

In Sangaria municipality, after 27 withdrawals, 112 candidates will contest; in Tibbi, after 10 withdrawals, 82; in Rawatsar, after 44 withdrawals, 160; in Bhadra, after 77 withdrawals, 126; and in Nohar, after 25 withdrawals, 106 candidates will contest the elections.

In Goluwala municipality, after 18 candidates withdrew their names, 88 candidates will participate in the elections.

In the first phase, voting will be held on September 9 in Nohar, Bhadra, Sangaria, Tibbi, and Rawatsar municipalities. In the second phase, voting will take place in Hanumangarh Municipal Council and Goluwala and Pilibanga municipalities on September 11 from 7 AM to 6 PM. Counting of votes for both phases will be done on September 14.
