Traffic Jam for Two Weeks Due to Road Repair at Kisan Chowk in Greater Noida
GREATER NOIDA। Traffic is being affected at Kisan Chowk in Greater Noida West due to poor road conditions and underpass construction. The authority has started concrete pavement work on both sides of the road, which will last for about two weeks. During this time, traffic jams are likely, and drivers have been advised to be cautious.
Local residents near Kisan Chowk in Greater Noida West are troubled by the broken road condition and dust. Construction work of the underpass is underway here, and vehicles have started moving over it, but due to the poor condition of the road, bikers and residents of nearby societies are facing inconvenience.
AK Singh, General Manager of Greater Noida Authority, said that strong concrete pavement will be prepared on both sides of Kisan Chowk, which will make the road stronger and more durable. This work may take about two weeks to complete.
To ensure that traffic management is not affected during the construction work, traffic police personnel will be deployed. Traffic has been diverted on the service road in front of Gaud City One. The authority has said that new and alternative routes can be opened as needed to deal with traffic jams.
Drivers have been advised to exercise special caution while passing through Kisan Chowk and nearby roads. The traffic police team will monitor the situation and make necessary changes to keep traffic smooth.
Local resident Amit Gupta said that water sprinkling should be done to relieve dust. People already troubled by underpass construction and road repair will now have to deal with traffic jams. Kisan Chowk is the busiest and main traffic junction of Greater Noida West, where heavy vehicle movement occurs daily.
