Grand Celebration of Shri Krishna Janmashtami at Shri Ram Temple in Churu

A grand festival of Shri Krishna Janmashtami will be celebrated on Friday at Shri Ram Temple located on Purani Sadak in Churu. The temple has been specially decorated and the program will be held from 5 PM to 12:30 AM.

 A grand festival of Shri Krishna Janmashtami will be celebrated on Friday at Shri Ram Temple located on Purani Sadak in Churu. The temple has been specially decorated and the program will be held from 5 PM to 12:30 AM.

Tableaus of Shri Ram Darbar, Radha-Shri Krishna, and Shiva-Parvati have been arranged in the temple. The temple has also been decorated with hundreds of bells. The festival will be organized at Jubilee Pinjarapol Goshala Rambas from 5 PM, including the grand Aarti of Janmashtami and matki breaking ceremony at midnight.

On the occasion of Shri Krishna Janmashtami, the cradle of Lord Bal Krishna will be swung and prasad of makhan, mishri, and panjiri will be distributed.

The Janmashtami festival will also be celebrated with enthusiasm in various temples across the city. At the ancient Shri Satya Lakshmi Narayan Temple located in Budhwara Bazaar, there will be Panchamrit Abhishek in the morning, Shringar Darshan at 5 PM, Shringar Aarti at 7 PM, and Janm Aarti at midnight.

Tableaus of Lord Shri Krishna and the Shiva family will be decorated at Shri Laxminarayan Temple located in Parvatibai Dharamshala. Attractive decoration of Radha Krishna will be done in the Shri Mahalaxmi Temple complex at Lal Chowki. In the evening, Thakurji will be decorated with flowers and placed in the cradle, and along with bhajans and kirtans, the story of Shri Krishna's birth will also be narrated.

Events will also be held at Shri Dwarkadhish Haveli and Agrawal Dharamshala located in Ramganj Gali. Dahi Handi matki breaking competitions will be organized on Janmashtami. A program will be organized by MP Gyaneshwar Patil Mitra Mandal at Kele Ram Chowraha. At Maa Navchandi Devidham, under the guidance of Mahant Baba Gangaram, a Dahi Handi matki breaking event will be held. Additionally, matki breaking competitions will be held at Padawa, Shani Mandir, Cinema Chowk, and other locations.

On this day, the moon will be in its exalted sign Taurus, which is believed to bring mental peace, prosperity, and an increase in positive energy. Vrat, worship, chanting, and religious rituals will yield special benefits. Reciting Vishnu Sahasranama, Purushuktam, Gopal Sahasranama, and performing Abhishek at homes and temples will be beneficial.

A day before the festival, crowds were seen shopping in the markets. Along with cradles, clothes, and decorative items of Lord Bal Krishna, there was also good sales of Raksha Bandhan materials.

In Sadulpur, the International Krishna Bhavanamrit Sangh ISKCON will also celebrate the Shri Krishna Janmashtami festival on Friday.

Pt. Ankit Markandeya said that Bhadrapad Krishna Janmashtami is coinciding with Rohini Nakshatra and Mitra Yoga, which makes the festival even more auspicious.

Rajesh Mandavewala said that special decoration has been done in the temple. Narayan Baheti said that the temple has been decorated with hundreds of bells. Omprakash Prajapat said that the festival will be held at Jubilee Pinjarapol Goshala Rambas from 5 PM to 12:30 AM.
