Amruta Fadnavis Supports Inclusive Festivals Amid Calls to Exclude Muslims

Amruta Fadnavis has spoken out in favour of inclusive festival celebrations, responding to calls by some groups to bar Muslim participation in Navratri garba events. She said that if a Muslim person enjoys the festival properly, there is nothing wrong with it.

Amruta Fadnavis expressed her disagreement with the decision to disallow Muslims from participating in garba-dandiya dance during Navratri. She also noted that if DJs are not permitted during Ganesh festival celebrations, similar restrictions should apply to Eid processions as well. "Festivals are inclusive," she said, differing with calls to keep Muslims out of these events.
