डब्ल्यूबीएसएससी घोटाला: अर्पिता के घर से 20 करोड़ रुपये से अधिक नकद, 3 किलो सोना बरामद

कोलकाता, 27 जुलाई (आईएएनएस)। प्रवर्तन निदेशालय (ईडी) के अधिकारियों ने बुधवार को कोलकाता के उत्तरी बाहरी इलाके बेलघरिया में अर्पिता मुखर्जी के एक आवास से 20 करोड़ रुपये से अधिक मूल्य की भारतीय मुद्राएं और तीन किलोग्राम सोना बरामद कीं।

ईडी सूत्रों ने बताया कि गणना प्रक्रिया अभी जारी है और अब तक आवास के बेडरूम में एक अलमारी से 20 करोड़ रुपये की नकदी बरामद की गई है।

ईडी के एक अधिकारी ने कहा, रिकवरी की गई मुद्राएं 500 रुपये और 2,000 रुपये में हैं। गिनती अभी भी जारी है और हमें उम्मीद है कि यह राशि दक्षिण कोलकाता के टॉलीगंज में डायमंड पार्क हाउसिंग कॉम्प्लेक्स में अर्पिता मुखर्जी के आवास से 21.20 करोड़ रुपये के करीब होगी। साथ ही, हमने तीन किलो सोना बरामद किया है।

बुधवार शाम को, केंद्रीय सशस्त्र बलों के जवानों के साथ ईडी के अधिकारियों ने मुखर्जी के आवास के प्रवेश द्वार को तोड़ा और आवास के एक बेडरूम में अलमारी खोलने पर, एजेंसी के अधिकारियों ने 500 रुपये और 2,000 के नोटों के बंडलों को देखा।
