65 Percent Less Rainfall in Monsoon Season in Jodhpur, Temperature Rises
JODHPUR। Jodhpur has received 65.5 percent less rainfall than normal during the monsoon season. There has been no rain in the city since the early days of August, and a rise in temperature has been recorded. The Meteorological Department has not issued any rain alert until September 9.
According to the Meteorological Department, the weather in Jodhpur will remain clear on Friday. A rise in temperature has been observed over the past few days. On Thursday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 35.8 degrees Celsius, which is 1.6 degrees above normal.
Normally, 254.7 mm of rainfall is expected during the monsoon season, but this time only 189.2 mm has been recorded. This indicates that monsoon rainfall has been 65.5 percent less than normal.
