Target to Plant 1.5 Million Saplings Under Hariyalo Rajasthan Campaign in Dholpur

DHOLPUR। A target of planting 1.5 million saplings has been set under the 'Hariyalo Rajasthan' campaign in Dholpur district. The campaign was inaugurated by In-charge Secretary Rajan Vishal at the DIET campus, where officers and employees also planted saplings.

In Sendra of Raipur Marwar sub-division, the Gram Panchayat and Forest Department jointly planted saplings in the orchard on Jaitpura Road. During this, saplings of Peepal, Gulmohar, Karanj, Jamun, and Plas were planted. Everyone pledged to regularly care for and protect the plants. The program aimed to increase greenery in the area and raise environmental awareness among villagers.

At Government Primary School Chauki Kheda, under the 'Mission Hariyalo Rajasthan' campaign and the 'One Tree in the Name of Brother-Sister' initiative, students and staff enthusiastically planted saplings. Children were informed about environmental protection and the importance of trees. The school community conveyed the message of caring for plants and pledged to nurture them like the bond between siblings.

In Gram Panchayat Shergarh, the block-level plantation program was inaugurated by Development Officer Gokul Singh Chaudhary by planting saplings. He appealed to villagers for active participation in plant protection and environmental conservation. During this, Mahendra Singh Rathore stated that more than three thousand saplings have been planted so far in the Shergarh area.

At Government Senior Secondary School in Bawlas, shady and fruit-bearing plants were planted. Principal Harphool Yadav asked every student to plant one sapling and pledge to take care of it. District Secretary of the Teachers' Association, Kalu Singh Chundawat, emphasized environmental awareness.

In the Forest Department nursery at Hindoli, 250 saplings were planted under the 'One Tree in the Name of Mother' campaign. District In-charge Secretary Rukmani Riyer planted saplings and appealed to plant as many saplings as possible and take care of them. Administrative officers and Forest Department staff were present at the program.

At the DIET campus located in Gram Panchayat Dubati of Dholpur Panchayat Samiti, In-charge Secretary Rajan Vishal delivered a message on environmental protection and plantation. Officers and employees also planted saplings and pledged to protect them.

Planting saplings is the beginning of responsibility towards nature, but it is also necessary to protect them until they grow into trees. Trees are the foundation of our life, and their protection is everyone's responsibility.
