चेन्नईयिन एफसी ने अजित कुमार के साथ करार किया

चेन्नई, 28 जुलाई (आईएएनएस)। चेन्नईयिन एफसी ने आगामी सत्र से पहले स्थानीय खिलाड़ी अजित कुमार को अनुबंधित किया है। चेन्नई में जन्मे डिफेंडर बेंगलुरू एफसी में दो साल के कार्यकाल के बाद टीम में शामिल होंगे।

अजीत का क्लब में स्वागत करते हुए चेन्नईयिन एफसी की सह-मालिक वीटा दानी ने कहा, टीम के सभी लोग बहुत खुश हैं, अजित चेन्नई की टीम के लिए प्रदर्शन करने के लिए तैयार हैं।

25 वर्षीय खिलाड़ी ने बेंगलुरु एफसी के लिए पिछले दो इंडियन सुपर लीग सीजन में 13 मैचों में भाग लिया। उन्होंने चार एएफसी कप के साथ-साथ पांच डूरंड कप मैच भी खेले।

अजित उस शहर में लौट रहे हैं, जहां उन्होंने अपने करियर की शुरूआत की थी। 2018 में उन्होंने चेन्नई सिटी एफसी के साथ अपनी पेशेवर शुरूआत की और क्लब के पहले आई-लीग खिताब जीतने वाले अभियान में एक महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाई, जो सभी 20 लीग खेलों में प्रदर्शित हुई।

अजित ने टीम से जुड़ने के बाद कहा, चेन्नई वापस आकर अच्छा लग रहा है, लेकिन इस बार चेन्नईयिन एफसी के खिलाड़ी के रूप में मैं घरेलू प्रशंसकों के सामने खेलने का इंतजार नहीं कर सकता।

चेन्नई शहर के साथ अपने दो साल के कार्यकाल के दौरान, अजित ने सुपर कप और एएफसी कप सहित प्रतियोगिताओं में 42 प्रदर्शन किए।
